One in eight men will develop prostate cancer in their lifetime. It is the most common cancer in men, with more than 5,000 new cases being detected in Switzerland each year.

Although relatively common, prostate cancer is not inevitable. It is even the cancer that is best cured, in particular thanks to diagnostic methods and the effectiveness of treatments.
