Ildiko Szalay Quinodoz

Having received her early education in Venezuela, Germany and Switzerland, Dr. Ildiko Szalay-Quinodoz conducted her medical studies in Geneva and obtained her medical degree in 1992. She completed her training in the Department of Clinical Pathology of the Geneva University Hospital. Hospital, where she obtained a Specialists title in Pathology (FMH: Swiss Medical Association).
After a short stay in New York as a visiting fellow at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center she was appointed Senior Registrar in 2000.
In 2002 she joined Cytopath-Unilabs laboratory in Geneva and in 2011 she co-founded Dianapath a private laboratory (Medisupport group) with most of its activity in digestive and urological pathology. Dr Szalay Quinodoz has a keen interest in urological pathology, especially in prostate and kidney tumors.
She is an active member of the Swiss Society of Pathology and the International Academy of Pathology.
